the result of human error

okay, it's time to talk football. World Cup Fever has hit me now.

this morning's game was England vs. USA. i have always rooted for the Three Lions of course. last night's 1-1 draw was not a disappointment for me. well. maybe a little bit. but both sides played really well especially in the 2nd half. so i think they both deserved the draw.

since Rio Ferdinand's injured, the new captain of England is well not John Terry but Merseyside's Steven Gerrard. Gerrard did pretty damn well. actually it felt like he was the only one working his butt off in the game. in the first half at least. but England's game play and teamwork were way better in the 2nd half.

if only Green had a tight grip on the ball it would've been 1-0. that's the human error nobody anticipated. but Capello didn't substitute Green in the 2nd half. right decision. Green made a spectacular save in the 2nd half. he played better. he did made up for his mistake. although that might haunt him.

i was hoping that England wins the game. ahh, what the hell. well, when the ball deflected from Green's hand and slowly crawled across the line... my jaw dropped and my heart stopped. my mind was like 'what the heck?!'

oh, never mind.
