the one with my BFF

Posted by Unknown at 7:52 PM 0 comments
SELAMAT HARI JADI SAYANG!!! *belated actually* but anyways still HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY DEAR!!
before2 this you dedicated an entry in your blog for my birthday,
so now it's my turn to do the same!

i'll start from the beginning
although tengah2 mungkin lubang2 sikit sebab my memory is a little bit messed up and it's been a long time ago
xsilap aku we first met in Form 2 kan? kat SETA
back then, my BFF wasn't you
it was peacock *still wondering to this day how that happened* haha
kamu pindah masuk SETA
and i don't think we talked much back then
barely spoke i think
actually, nak apologize awal2 sbb aku seriously xingat how we get to where we are now.. our friendship
how we became tight?
how after you left SETA, we text each other quite often
mostly because of BOYS
you seemed to be the one that came up with the most stories on BOYS
remember?
kau selalu text aku about him, that guy, this guy, and so on?
sometimes honestly.. i was lost on who's who.. haha
even till this day i'm still lost at times
because there are just too many of them
but they're all interesting though
that's why aku xjenuh dengar cerita kau
always different stories every time

btw, refresh me will ya?
how is it that we managed to become great friends even after you move out from school??
what happened?
*seriously i don't remember*
i think during high school i knocked my head hard on something that i forgot almost everything
haha
our bond grew stronger even though we were hundred miles apart from each other
weird huh?
walaupun hanya dengan mesej and not face-to-face, we still managed to keep it real

then we finished school and both of us winded up in Johor Matriculation College
actually i'm glad i didn't take up TESL courses offered to me
tempting jugak sbb semua nk hantar overseas kan
haha
sbb kalau aku peg, aku xjumpa kau kat matrik!
and from hundred miles it turns into thousands of miles apart
with no way to text each others and listens to your boy problems haha
kidding!
i missed matrik actually
sangat2
aku ingt lg petang2 kau slalu seret aku g padang dok usha _____ tengah bersukan
haha
pastu malam2 lepak kafe makan2
*rindu plak benjo kafe c*
outing kat bandar tangkak same2
DVD! haha ingt lg kedai tuhh
then ingat x kte g melaka?
makan kenny rogers?
aku rasa starting from that day i brought you to Kenny Rogers Roaster
you fell in love with it didn't you??
hehehe =p
we did go to Muar tgok Transformers kan????
man, i missed the good ol' days with you!!

OMG!! jambunya kite kan.. muke innocent baik2 je dlu.. haha

then we part ways again
kamu pergi UPM
and i went 'over the sea' which is USM in Penang haha
even farther away
i guess we only see each other once a year or maybe once in two years since you're busy with your vet animals *haha*
and i'm busy with my social stuff *social sciences* haha
when you come out and become a vet, i'll be sure to take my cats, my hamsters, my fishes, my horses *ade ke?* and all other pets haha to you
make sure you do an excellent med check-up on them! haha

ingt x kite pergi Singapore a few months back and came home with the most bitter memory ever?
not getting tickets into Universal Studio.. haha
berani mati sangat kan
last2 tiket habis dok melangok depan globe ja.
hahaha
felt stupid that day
haha but hey
at least we get to spent some times together kan with Sarah Iylia Huzir plak tu
yang datang jauh dari Surrey UK
hehe
miss that day
when there were just us
no problems
no boys
nothing getting in our way
except for Universal Studio haha
ble nak buat keje gile lagi???
hhehe

cepat sungguh masa berlalu kan
dari form 2
sampailah sekarang dah smp universiti pon
times passed
people changed
but we stay the same
still that two immature and childish beings talking about nonsense and doing crazy things
good thing we didn't change huh
good thing we still remain friends after all those years

i dunno what the future holds for us
but since we have already got this far
let's bring the best out of everything
and let's make sure we stay best friend forever, k?
*tbe2 rase nk nangis*
MISSED YOU DAMN MUCH!!

actually i have a song to sing but how huh??
i'll just write down the chorus here
it's from Bruno Mars Just The Way You Are
i know this is a guy song to a girl
but this is me to you and i'm not gay... nor am i a lesbian
i'm straight even though certain people think i'm not hahaha

"When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for awhile
Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are"

YOU ARE THE MOST AMAZING FRIEND I EVER HAD!!
SO DON'T CHANGE!
*tp kalau berubah ke arah yg lebih baik xpe*
HAHA
YOU'RE PERFECT THE WAY YOU ARE!
BUT DON'T BE A NARCISSIST
HEHE KIDDING~

SELAMAT HARI LAHIR YANG KE-21
HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING GOES WELL FOR YOU

LIFE MIGHT SOMETIMES DRAG YOU TO A DARK AND LONELY PATH
BUT
NO MATTER HOW DARK AND LONELY IT GETS
KNOW THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU
YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE THE GUT AND DON'T BE SCARED
THEN ONLY WILL YOU FIND YOUR WAY OUT
BUT
FIND ME FIRST OK!

P/S : I KNOW YOU HAVE ____ NOW, BUT DON'T EVER FORGET ME OK??

the one with the universal studio (1st part)

there are actually a lot i wanna write about our little trip to Universal Studio Singapore on Nov 22nd, 2010. so much that i hv no idea where to start. haha... i guess i'll start from the beginning of our trip starting from Kota Raya Terminal.. we took a shuttle bus straight to Resort World Sentosa *xtau pon ade?* what really frustrating was that we left the terminal at 7.45am but reached Resort World at 11.00am !!! the traffic on Tambak Johor, the bridge connecting Johor to Singapore was unbelievably horrible!! not to mention we had to get on and off the bus quite a few times at the immigration to settle our passports. haiisshhh.. serius leceh!

happy faces >> excited

as soon as we arrived we went straight to the ticketing counter and since i have already booked the tickets *xnk pisang ebrbuah dua x punya pasal*, we just went straight to the entrance and showed our tickets without  any trouble! took our voucher (SD5 for food and SD5 for shopping) yayy! the place was super duper crowded with people from all walks of life. kids, adult, seniors, asian, caucasian, arabs, and lots more. the stores lined up to the right and left of us held superb designs and architecture! saw Mel's Drive-In at the T-junction. Mel's Drive-In is the kind of restaurant you usually see in Hollywood movies.. this was from Back To The Future if i'm not mistaken. we took the left turn and walked straight into NEW YORK CITY! haha amazing! felt like i was really standing in the middle of the Big Apple! there were the 5th Avenue Broadway! been dying to watch broadway there! In 'New York', we entered Lights, Camera, Action! Hosted by Steven Spielberg >>>> we were placed in an empty sound stage where it later became a set where category 5 hurricane hit us!! the special effects were terrific! i really felt like it was real, i mean even the background the city of New York being crushed by the hurricane seemed real! it was awesome!! the fire, the explosion were all real! damn Steven Spielberg's good!!

empire state of mind >>> me in 'NYC'... haha

FDNY >>> Fire Department of New York >>> reminds me of the TV show Third Watch.. huhuhu

us standing in front of the 'Metropolitan Museum of Art' in the middle of NYC... nice.. haha

this is where the rockerfeller guys danced... i think it's a broadway theater... it's written 5th Avenue on the signboard... hey, it's one of the wealthiest street in the world guys!!

it's gorgeous at night! i love it! one day, i will step my foot in New York.. getting a job in the United Nation maybe? haha dream big people!

after New York, we went for a little space adventure >>> Sci Fi City where it house the craziest roller coaster i have ever seen in my entire life! it uses the concept of Battlestar Galactica.. there were two tracks >>> blue track as Cyclon and red track as Human... unfortunately, the roller coaster hasn't opened yet for public.. what a disappointment. i saw the track and it was like hell crazy! those who are willing to take a ride on it are nuts! haha i wanted to... (T____T)

see what i mean? wee how crazy the tracks are? guess they need to be sure these are really safe to be opened to public... no worries, i'll be back! haha

the entrance to the death-defying thrill ride! go go battlestar galactica!!

okay, im gonna stop here.. this will be the first part of our trip.. New York City and Sci-Fi City. i will update as soon as possible on The Lost World, Far Far Away, Madagascar, and Hollywood.. i can't write them all down in this post.. too many to write about and too many pictures to upload..
the trip was super amazing btw!!

happy Eid Al-Adha everyone!

but it wasn't
it was the exact opposite of boring
which is enjoy of course!

went to Dr. Zaini's house in Georgetown
i took his class in 1st year 1st semester
it was introductory to politics
love his class!

he invited us
because some of us still have few papers left to sit after eid
hence, they couldn't go home
so they had to stay
and Dr. sincerely invited us to spend the eid with him and his family

even though am not home
but still get to eat daging korban ok
along with nasi beriyani i think
macaroni tom yam
lemang
kek buah
kek coklat
rempeyek
dan macam2 lagi

kenyang
Alhamdulillah~

terima kasih Dr. Zaini!

the one with the passport

i've always wanted to go sightseeing around Georgetown, Penang and snap some random pictures of historical buildings and people. Georgetown is like one of Malaysia's most valuable heritage. i dunno why but Georgetown is a place where i can find all kinds of people. if you wanna get a taste of what Penang feels like, just go to some random mamak's restaurant. don't worry, there's no shortage of mamak's here in Penang. actually, you'll be overwhelmed by the various kind of mamak's that in the end you don't know which one to go to. still confused? then go to all of them, try all of them! haha... they're the most original you can get!

at least today i get to taste nasi kandar at a different kind of mamak's. back in USM i usually at nasi kandar (which is the signature food in all the mamak's restaurant you'll see) Subaidah and Khaleel but today we (me and jasmine) ate at Kapitan Nasi Kandar (which we stumbled upon by accident while searching for the mosque by foot!) haha.. it was nice.. but quite expensive! never mind. mom once said 'if you have to pay extra for food, then go for it if you think it's good. at least the money will finally end up in your stomach one way or another.' hahaha thanks mom. appreciate the advice! *sebab tu makan banyak tahap gaban semenjak menjadi warga Penang!*.

the interior of the Kapitan Nasi Kandar

actually, we went to Georgetown in the first place because i was accompanying my friend to the immigration center for her passport. we arrived at 10.30 AM and already the place was jam-packed with people from all kinds of background. everyone either wanted to renew or make their passports. jasmine got her number and there were at least 150 people more before her. only at 2PM did she get to submit her form and made her payment. after that we decided to go complete our prayer first before finding something to eat *perut lapar gile masa tu*. we walked i dunno for how far but Georgetown is like a maze. too many roads and too many junctions. you could easily get lost in the craziness of the town. it was so hectic with cars and buses honking at one another. the roads were quite small to fit big cars. seriously, i felt like at any time we could suddenly get hit by a car or a bus or even a motorcycle that might just came out of nowhere.

this is the "Wall Street" of Penang *perhaps Malaysia*... it's called Beach Street.. along the street there were several street names connecting to Beach Street like Bishop Street, Union Street,Downing Street *sounds like UK's very own Downing Street intelligence?* and so on. why i called it the Malaysian version of Wall Street? because the street is mostly occupied by banks and trade companies. technically speaking, it's the richest street in Penang apart from the Gold Bazaar hahaha... the buildings were historically amazing! love the architecture and love the colonialism aura it asserts along the street! but the cars driving around the area were chaotic and troubling!

dunno what this is... 'Night Safe'? it was at the Standard Chartered Bank

at the jetty, we saw a cruiser docked at the jetty!! "Pisces"... it would be nice to be on that cruiser and circled the world... honeymoon sounds great *khas utk my future husband > whoever you are. hihi* but if titanic or poseidon happens, than it would definitely suck! a thousand dollar holiday turns to a huge catastrophic disaster! the scenery at night with the cruiser still there is a lot more gorgeous actually coz of the lights.

i love this picture of the Custom Department! the building looks exotic!

overall, i'm glad i accompanied my friend because the outcome was more than i expected even though it was one hell of a tiresome day due to the walking and waiting. but it was great because i get to take brilliant pictures. of buildings mostly. i'm gonna try and do another trip walking in Georgetown and take photos of people... haven't done that yet. and can wait to do it!

oh, finished exam already yesterday.. yayyyy!

Happy Eid Ul Adha everyone!

*sad because i don't get to go home because of my unfinished pile of workload*
