the result of human error

Posted by Unknown at 7:12 PM 0 comments
okay, it's time to talk football. World Cup Fever has hit me now.

this morning's game was England vs. USA. i have always rooted for the Three Lions of course. last night's 1-1 draw was not a disappointment for me. well. maybe a little bit. but both sides played really well especially in the 2nd half. so i think they both deserved the draw.

since Rio Ferdinand's injured, the new captain of England is well not John Terry but Merseyside's Steven Gerrard. Gerrard did pretty damn well. actually it felt like he was the only one working his butt off in the game. in the first half at least. but England's game play and teamwork were way better in the 2nd half.

if only Green had a tight grip on the ball it would've been 1-0. that's the human error nobody anticipated. but Capello didn't substitute Green in the 2nd half. right decision. Green made a spectacular save in the 2nd half. he played better. he did made up for his mistake. although that might haunt him.

i was hoping that England wins the game. ahh, what the hell. well, when the ball deflected from Green's hand and slowly crawled across the line... my jaw dropped and my heart stopped. my mind was like 'what the heck?!'

oh, never mind.

eyes on the front people!

this one's pretty random.

i remembered when we arrived in Surabaya, Indonesia, first thing we did was finding something to eat. went to this shopping mall, Sogo if i'm not mistaken.

after eating and blah blah blah, we went for a little window shopping.

i was walking when i saw this one cute indonesian guy (i supposed). i was staring at him like really staring at him without looking where i was going. when i snapped back into the real world, i turned my head to join my friends. but the problem was, i didn't see my friends. the only thing i saw was white matter!

i was an inch close to hitting my head on the friggin' white wall! i stopped abruptly! and stared at it. my mind was like, 'what the heck?!'

my friends laughed at me, probably wondering why i didn't see the big fat wall in front of me. well, blame that cute guy! i was momentarily distracted because of him! i was of course embarrassed.

this is one lesson learned - never ever take your eyes of the road only to stare at a guy no matter how gorgeous they are!

a little of this and a little of that

Alhamdulillah my result is not as bad as i thought it would be... in fact i managed to increase my pointer a little... huaaah, so relieved..

been travelling a lot lately. this year only i've been to thailand and indonesia. and my next trip is to singapore. we're going to the newly opened Universal Studio people! can't even tell you how excited i am!

ok, last month i went to indonesia specifically surabaya and jakarta with the club. it was more for academic conference. had a whole lot of fun and a bunch of sweet and bitter memories kept at the back side of my head. to many to talk about. so i won't talk about it. haha

ughh, who knows that sitting at home doing nothing but chores would be boring. i prefer college life. seriously, my everyday routine is the same. doing home chores and watching TV... boring, boring, boring...

oh btw, i have a goal for this upcoming semester. that is by the end of the semester i will for whatever the cost is set my foot in cambodia specifically siam reap and enchant myself with the views of Angkor Wat! seeing friends simply having fun there drove me crazy. supposed to be me there. huhhu! but no worries... i will and when i say i will, i mean it reach there. i'll do whatever it takes to get there! even kill! haha just joking... i'll end up in prison before i could even set foot there... haha!

man, it's good to babble like this again... dear blog, why did i leave you for such a long time? forgot what it feels like to write my feelings down here. you are the most understandable friend i ever had! you accept every little piece of my madness and nuisance. it sure is to good to be able to speak to you again!

a question answered.. my take on love

Posted by Unknown at 11:19 PM 0 comments
Sometimes people feel like it’s useless to fall in love only to fall out of love again and again. Why love if the only ending you know of is pain and loneliness? Why do people seek love even when they know that it’s just an illusion and that it might not last forever? People say love makes you go blind and do crazy things without realizing them. People say love makes you feel like you’ve just been born again into a whole new world. Love is the pioneer of life. People perish without love. People seek them because it is in their nature. Everyone wants to know what it feels like to love and be loved. But then again not every love stories end beautifully. Sometimes, most of the stories written on love ended in a way that we humans never anticipated. They’re not just stories. They’re more than just stories. They portrayed the real world. The entire emotions, surroundings, actions, feelings and the rest are described in thousands of words, words that hide yet another thousand meanings behind them. This is especially true when it is written in poems. The words themselves are veils that hide countless and priceless meanings on life and love. Never easy to understand but it becomes breathtakingly beautiful when you do understand them. Love is something that cannot be avoided by every living soul on Earth. It is a part of us and make up most of our lives. Without love, you’re incomplete. You’re like a soulless creature. Because only half of you are fulfilled while the other half is still empty and waiting to be filled in. Be it love between a man and a woman, an owner and his pet, a person and his Creator, a child and his family, and so on, they are all the same. Somehow, we’re all connected, through the power of love.

So, again why love?

Because as long as human civilization continues to exist… so will love. We live to love.

it's been a while since i last updated this blog
truthfully, i have lots to talk about but dunno how to put things in words
haha
time is running out
exam week is nearer
but i haven't touch even a bit on any subjects
been watching a lot of movies lately
more like watching them twice
let me see
for the past few weeks
i have watched :

1) Alice in Wonderland (2x)
2) Under The Mountain (1x)
3) Evolusi KL Drift 2 (2x)
4) Clash of The Titans (2x)

and now i'm waiting to watch When In Rome with Josh Duhamel and Kristin Bell
looks funny
another one movie i have longed for it to be filmed is Lagenda Budak Setan
i love this book written by the infamous Ahadiat Akashah
this novel reminds me of the good ol' days
of my high school years
how i've seen tonnes of people especially teens being obsessed with this book and other books written by him
Lagenda Budak Setan is a heartbreakingly sad love story revolved around 4 people
Kasyah, Ayu, Azmi, and Katerina
i remembered i was so hooked to this book when i was in form 1 if i'm not mistaken
it was hauntingly beautiful and heartbreakingly sad
the line ups for this movie is quite ok for me...

Kasyah is played by Farid Kamil
Ayu is played by Lisa Surihani
Azmi is played by Que Haidar
Katerina is played by Fazura

i have my finger crossed ever since i watched the promo a couple days ago
i want it to be as lively as the book was
and i want the movie to capture the feelings the writer was trying to convey in the novel
they better not disappoint me
since this is my favorite Malay novel of all time
